Absolutely amazing boardgame and the campaign setting expansion added even greater replayability! It has instantly become a favorite amongst my friends and some have even used the characters we created during playthru to become player-characters or NPC's in other ttrpg settings.

Hey , I just saw Super Boss Monster on Kickstarter and I think it looks amazing. I am very interested and super excited to play this game. Unfortunately, I have never heard of this franchise before. So I do not have any previous Boss Monster versions. Would I feel like I am missing things if I play Super Boss Monster without any Boss Monster? Thank you guys for the amazing project. Do all of the expansions fit in that nice box? Shelf space is a premium, and if they do it may push me over the edge to back

Holy Crap, you guys called up a Necromancer and brought this beautiful monster back to life! :D I have been a big fan of the orginal game sense I was a kid and I had gotten the game propper when I had moved out to collage. Sense then I have not heard much from it, but I am damn happy that this game's audience still loves this game as much as I do:)

The number of treasure symbols needed to attract a hero is equal to the symbol on the hero PLUS the symbols shown nearby on the Slot below in the Town? I'm asking because in another video that i saw, it is explained in this way. For example, only one treasure symbol would be needed to attract a Hero into the first SLOT. Or do you need two treasure symbols? What is the correct rule? Thank you in advance!

Howdy, wanted to just drop this by here about halfway into the campaign to say: I am ridiculously impressed having only learnt about this for one day from a friend. You’ve got a crazy amount of funding and support despite this video having around 0.1% of the views compared to the amount you’ve raised. Seriously, the speed word about this is spreading despite the relatively low traction advertising is crazy given multiple people I know were talking about it and said people *really* don’t like each other. As for the game itself, I wish I learnt about it sooner. A pixel art card game that flips and plays with the foundations of video games as a whole is right up my alley. Definitely gonna grab The Ultimate Starter when I can. I do have one question for the team if they happen to see this though. I really liked the addition of the “Paper Croak” card, as while it’s obviously out of the usual style it does it’s job of invoking paper Mario very well, so I’m asking if there’s any plans to make more one-shot departures in the future? (either as part of the current stretch/social goals or otherwise).

Can all the old content be played solo too?

The best thing is the art design of the box !! Never played Boss Monster, but I'm a backer in this Kickstarter edition, looks so cool. Drafting is way better than random draw, in any game. It adds interaction with other players as well.

Was there a reason the mat doesn't have spaces for all the decks (hero, room, and spells) to sit. It just seems off that they sit off the mat.

How difficult is solo mode? It seems like its very easy to win? Is there a way to up the difficulty?

Seems almost too basic. What is the replayability since you go through every hero and epic hero every solo playthrough? Do the different rooms change things up enough? I didn't notice you activate whatever your boss monsters ability was, are those not taken into account in solo?

I just saw on the Kickstarter preview that the box says Super Boss Monster is for 1-4 players. Is there any chance of that being upped to 5 in future content? By the way, the chiptune music at the end of the video is really good. It seems like it wouldn't be out of place in a Shovel Knight game, which has some of my favorite NES inspired chiptune ever!

Boss Monster was my first Kickstarter and I've loved everything you guys make so this'll be an easy back. Really looking forward to when Dungeon Kart comes home, too.
